Quite a few people have inquired about the origin of the Pandit project at the Brahmasthan of India. Arlene and I recently very much enjoyed hearing the remarkable account of how it happened from Dr. Girish Varma. Girish ji has very kindly recorded this story and we thought to make it it available to you in case you might also really enjoy hearing it.

In this candid recounting, Girish describes his original involvement in searching for the land at the Brahmasthan and explains how, right from the beginning, Maharishi saw this place as being the future home for a galaxy of Vedic Pandits and the key to bringing Heaven on Earth.
