Dear Friends,
In the next week or so we will be sending you an update on progress here at the Brahmasthan of India, including a report from Dr. Paul Gelderloos on his impressions having just been here. Paul, who had a chance to closely inspect the entire project, is very generously helping every month to complete the construction of the many buildings that have already been started as well as with the landscaping and overall beauty of the campuses. In advance of that report, I thought to send you this short impression of mine from today, here at the Brahmasthan.
The season has changed here in India. The days are warm, but no longer hot, and the evenings cool and still. This morning, sometime before dawn, the loud doorbell rang at my residence here. When I went to the door to check why, there stood the guard, backing away and looking down with a big sheepish grin on his face. Probably he was just testing what that unknown odd button might do. No matter – a good time to start the day.
I finished my program earlier than usual and so thought to go to one of the Pandit areas not far away. Walking along the paths there from mandap to mandap, I could hear group after group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits softly and slowly ushering in the blessings of total natural law. The whole environment was stirring with blessed recitations and the combined orchestra was — in a word — heavenly.
The effect of those sounds — the sublime, exquisite, gracious air they created in an atmosphere also filled with intense power of the sweetest simplicity — gave an immediate and tangible understanding of how the Pandits can and will create lasting true peace for the whole world. A very soft unexpected rain then came, as if blessing that moment. I quietly felt I should share that experience with you – and also express the thought that welled up at that time: thank you so much to each one of you for your care for the Maharishi Vedic Pandits. I know of nothing greater on earth.
With very best wishes always,
Jai Guru Dev
