Dear Friends,

Arlene and I wanted to update you on the new International Course Campus in the Brahmasthan of India. As you probably remember, we are finishing a series of buildings where Meditators, Sidhas and Governors from around the world can come, and in this sublime environment, enjoy long group program, beautiful knowledge meetings and daily live Vedic recitation by Maharishi Vedic Pandits.

I am happy to report that the first course will start on Sunday, Oct 2, 2011 and will include later that week the grand inauguration of the new facility on the highly auspicious Vijaya Dashami — Victory Day. Those attending this inaugural course will also attend the global celebration of that day in the big celebration hall at the main Pandit campus.

At the course campus, there are today more than 250 workers on site, some at the first two buildings where we are finishing 50 suites for our main group of guests, and some working at buildings for Purusha, a short distance away.

Each time we go to check on the progress, the sight of teams scrambling up and down and around the three floors of each building — bringing electrical and plumbing materials, paint, plaster and marble tiles — brings great smiles to our faces. I think everyone is really going to enjoy coming here.

Some questions: We are now beginning our more detailed planning of the daily routine for our guests and we wanted to solicit any thoughts or special requests you might have.

Please send your thoughts to: Info@MaharishiIndiaCourses.com

In particular, we have been thinking that some guests, coming all the way to India, might also like to go on some tours, perhaps visiting special temple sites etc. Is this something you might enjoy, and if so, how long would be best for you? For example, you might like to take a one or two week tour and then spend one or two weeks in the Brahmasthan of India.

In addition to a longer tour before (or after) your stay, we are thinking now of options for local travel including day trips from the Brahmasthan to several of the traditional holy sites in the area, a day trip to the Marble Rocks including a boat ride on the Narmada River, and a three-day trip to the nearby tiger reserve and nature park.

A number of people have very kindly offered their help and time in organizing and running these courses and the facility for part or all of a course season (September - March). There are three areas in which we do need help: facility management, course development and leading, and  course publicity. If you have an interest in participating in one of these areas,  please let us know.

We look forward to your thoughts and send very best wishes always.

Jai Guru Dev
