Dear Friends,

In just a few short weeks the first season at the International Guest Campus will begin. We are so looking forward to welcoming all of you to the Brahmasthan of India.

Dr. Vernon Katz
Dr. Vernon Katz.

We were speaking with dear Dr. Vernon Katz the other day, sharing with him all the news from the Brahmasthan of India. For those who may not know, Vernon is a Vedic scholar extraordinaire having been with Maharishi since 1960 and working with Maharishi on his translation of the Bhagavad-Gita. Vernon’s book, “Conversations With Maharishi,” has just been released by MUM Press. Collected in this volume are many exquisite conversations between Maharishi and Vernon on the Brahma-Sutra.

Vernon was thinking what he could do to bring support to the Maharishi Vedic Pandits. What has come out is wonderful, I think.

From November 13th to the 20th this year we will have a week-long program structured by Dr. Vernon Katz specifically for our guests at the International Campus. Dr. Katz will respond to a series of question and answer presentations designed for this special week for everyone coming to the International Guest Facility. Dr. Katz will discuss his time spent with Maharishi while working on the Brahma-Sutra, the Bhagavad-Gita and his more recent work on the Upanishads. He will also share many personal and intimate experiences that he has had with Maharishi. Dr. Tom Egenes, associate professor of Maharishi Vedic Science and Sanskrit at Maharishi University of Management and longtime friend and colleague of Dr. Katz, will participate in these beautiful question and answer sessions with Vernon. Please note that these talks will be taped beforehand exclusively for our enjoyment during this week. Vernon will also call in and answer questions from the group assembled in the Brahmasthan.

This is going to be a delightful time to be in the Brahmasthan. Arlene and I warmly invite you to attend November 13th through the 20th for this special event. Please come and stay as long as you like. To apply visit www.MaharishiIndiaCourses.com

We also wanted you to know there are still a few rooms available for the week of October 23. This will be a very special time to be in the Brahmasthan as the Vedic calendar days of Dhanvantari Jayanti (Day of Ayurveda), Hanuman Puja, and Dipavali (Maha Lakshmi) all fall in this week. And of course, you are welcome to come later.

We look forward to giving more detailed reports from India when Arlene and I arrive back home there in just a few weeks.

With very best wishes

Jai Guru Dev
