The Brahmananda Saraswati Foundation is pleased to announce the completion of its first charitable gift annuity at the request of a dear donor. Inspired by the potential and practicality of this, we want to make this wonderful Gift Annuity program available now to every donor who might wish to have a guaranteed return for life on some part of their assets while providing an immediate donation to the permanent Endowment Fund for the Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan of India.

What is a Charitable Gift Annuity?

• A charitable gift annuity is an irrevocable contract between a donor and the Brahmananda Saraswati Foundation.
• The donor gives a cash gift to the Foundation.
• The Foundation then provides the donor with regular payments based on the size of that gift for as long as the donor and the donor’s spouse live (for current contracts for those 60 years and older the payments could approximate 4%-5% annually).
• A major, top-rated insurance company guarantees these lifelong cash payments.
• The annuity payments are fixed and do not change during the donors’ lifetimes.
• At the time of starting this contract, a portion of the initial funds (about 25%) are permanently placed in the Brahmananda Saraswati Foundation’s permanent Endowment Account from which only the interest is used to pay for the support of Maharishi Vedic Pandits, generation after generation.
• The donor receives a tax deduction for this donated amount to the Endowment Fund (for US taxpayers).
