We are delighted to share this news with you from the Brahmasthan of India.

Early this past Saturday morning, the 11th of February, a group of Maharishi Vedic Pandit supporters from around the world met with Swami Vasudevananda Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth Ji. Shankaracharya Ji was appraised of and graciously offered his blessings for the building up of the group of Pandits at the Brahmasthan as well as the overall progress of the global activities of the Global Country of World Peace. It was a wonderful two-hour meeting, full of joy, full of resolve.

And then, at two o’clock in afternoon, in the highly auspicious presence of Shankaracharya Ji, the historic performance of AtiRudrabhishek by the Maharishi Vedic Pandits began at its optimal ‘Ati’ level – 1,331 Pandits reciting together for the peace and security of the whole world.

Exactly forty-nine months earlier, in the early evening of January 11th, 2008, in his last meeting all together with his Rajas, Minsters and Indian leaders, Maharishi emphasized the important of doing Rudrabhishek at this level, every day. It is a great milestone that this has now started – after a gap of 12 years – and with the blessings of Shankaracharya Ji.

The group of invited Pandit supporters along with Bijauri course participants experienced for themselves the power of this recitation. Several thousand more connected both at the Brahmasthan of Maharishi’s house in Holland and over the internet. We have been receiving such beautiful notes of appreciation and experiences of those who were listening. Many quietly came forward here saying that this was among the very greatest days of their lives. In the next few days we hope to send out a number of photos and clips from this event for you to enjoy.

After the performance, there were two questions on everyone’s mind: How could we all experience this again – soon ! – and could this be done every day as Maharishi had requested? To do so requires 1,500 more Pandits at the Brahmasthan because the Pandits here now are fully engaged in other performances of personal, national and global Yagyas.

We realized that this added number would be highly significant – the increase would not only allow the daily performance of this AtiRudrabhishek, but would bring the numbers at the Brahmasthan to 3,500, the super radiance number for India and a major marker of Pandit progress for the world. We have calculated that the additional cost of these 1,500 Pandits would be $3 million per year.

Some great news: Immediately on presenting this idea to the group here, one donor offered to cover 1/5 of this cost, $600,000, on the condition that the total sum be achieved. On hearing this news, a second donor immediately offered to match this.

This timely offer creates the opportunity for some other major donors to come forward. We are now looking for three other donors at this level or at least at the level of $50,000 per year so that the total would add up to the annual amount needed. As soon as we can secure these funds, this daily program will begin.

Each of these five donors will have their names acknowledged every day during the sankalpa at the commencement of each of these Ati Rudrabhishek – expressing that this blessed person/family is organizing for this performance for the world. This is a rare and blessed opportunity that probably has not been available for millennia.
