Dear Friends,

Along with Brahmachari (Dr.) Girish Varma Ji, Arlene and I wanted to inform you of a very important initiative: we are now completing a beautiful new residential facility for guests and course participants at the Center (Brahmasthan) of India. We wanted to inform you of this important development and invite you to come this winter and enjoy the profound experience of doing your program there and listening live, daily, to Maharishi Vedic Pandits.

There is a very rare, very special quality at the Brahmasthan of India. Arlene’s and my experience, and that of all the Rajas and visitors who have been fortunate to come there, is that it is highly inspirational, highly transformational. Maharishi had asked Girish Ji to create a beautiful facility there so that guests like you could bathe in that sublime, soft peacefulness, that lively silence. With Girish Ji’s great guidance and leadership, this is now coming to fruition.

What are the facilities like?

We are completing four buildings now at the Bijauri campus of the Brahmasthan (one of the three main Pandit campuses) — three for housing and one for dining, meeting and flying rooms. Each of the three buildings will have 30 two-room suites; all finished to a good Western standard including high-speed internet.

Each suite has a front sitting room, a bedroom and a Western style standard bathroom.

These facilities will be open to course participants every year in the cooler months from September though the end of March.

Every day the Pandits will come to Bijauri. Guests staying there, in addition to the bliss of their own program, will be able to enjoy live Rudra Abhishek during the day as well as some special performances in the evenings. We will have a vaidya on staff to ensure that health of everyone is looked after. And we will offer daily abhyangas for those who would enjoy this.

Guests will also be able to take advantage of:

• Jyotish consultations
• Special tapes every day featuring Maharishi’s knowledge for enlightenment and courses on the precious disciplines of Maharishi's Vedic Science, including the 16 Lesson Courses, such as Yoga Asanas
• Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems
• MVVT
• Gandharva Veda Concerts
• Advanced Techniques and Sidhi Refresher Course
• Trips to the Narmada River and visits to local temples

What are the costs?

The all-inclusive course fees (room, board, attending Pandit performances, daily knowledge tapes etc.) are $775 per person per week for single occupancy and $550 per person per week for double occupancy (prices effective for 2010-2011 season). Some of the programs such as Jyotish consultations will be offered as an elective with a reasonable added cost.

How can you participate?

Everyone is welcome to enjoy this new facility and its wonderful programs. There are three “prepay options” for you to consider which we are now offering to those who respond before 30 May 2010 to help us with the initial financing of the buildings.

• Silver Level: The first 25 people (married couples taking one suite counted as one) who would like to spend a total of 10 weeks in India at our new campus whenever they like over a 5 year period will get a 20% savings (e.g. a couple would normally pay $11,000 for 10 weeks.  Respond before May 30, and prepay only $8,800  — AND BE PROTECTED FROM FUTURE PRICE INCREASES. Similarly a single occupant would pay only $6,200 through this offer rather than $7,750.)
• Gold Level: The first 25 people (married couples taking one suite counted as one) who would like to spend a total of 20 weeks in India at our new campus whenever they like over a 10 year period will get a 35% savings (e.g. a couple would normally pay $22,000 for 20 weeks.  Respond before May 30, and prepay only $14,300. AND BE PROTECTED FROM FUTURE PRICE INCREASES. A single occupant would pay only $10,075 through this offer rather than $15,500.)
• Diamond Level: Five select donors, each providing $250,000, would receive the use of 2 complete two-room suites, at no cost to them, whenever they or their immediate family would like, for the next 20 years, paying only actual food and other direct costs and even these after 3 years of no cost at all.

Note: An investor could also invest in this project. Based on our pro formas, we could provide an annual return of 6% with a repayment schedule longer or shorter — based on the investor’s desires. Please email me at Bijauri@maharishi.net for details.

I would like to emphasize the very great benefits of this Bijauri facility and why we want to accomplish this project right away.

1. It will offer deepest experiences of development of consciousness for those who go there – the purpose of the TM Movement for individuals.
2. It will offer very meaningful ongoing support for the Pandits, even at the reasonable weekly all-inclusive rate.  This ongoing annual support is so important because it allows us to increase the numbers of Pandits at the Brahmasthan of India with the confidence that we can support them. Creating this initial 8,000 group there is the key to global peace and affluence.
3. It will offer powerful waves of inspiration to all those returning from the Brahmasthan to their own countries, enlivening the Movement there. 
4. We can use this Bijauri facility on occasions for our full time teachers in every country as well as for our national and global Ministers and National Directors–to give them some deepened experience, rest and rejuvenation

Arlene and I truly believe that getting this facility built will provide a powerful, wonderful, and unique experience and inspiration to everyone coming. We think its success will help bring success to every other area of the Movement.

About a quarter of the funds to build this facility have been spent and the frames of these buildings have been erected. It will cost about $1.5 million to now complete them. And complete means — in addition to the rooms, furnishings, AC, kitchens etc., — backup generators, ponds and landscaping, boundary and vastu fences and integrated audio/video equipment.
